Respiratory conditions that may arise include nasal inflammation, pharyngitis, tonsillitis, bronchitis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, asbestos-related lung diseases, and even lung cancer.
- Cardiovascular System: Fine metal dust particles, upon entering the bloodstream, increase the risk of blood clot formation, leading to blood vessel blockages. Consequently, this raises the risk of heart attacks and strokes.
- Skin: Adhered metal dust can clog skin pores, impede sweat secretion, and cause skin inflammation, acne, and ulcers.
- Eyes: Metal dust can irritate the ocular mucosa, causing eye inflammation, burns, and vision impairment. If left untreated, it can result in vision loss or blindness.
- Digestive System: Sharp metal dust particles, when ingested, can damage the gastric mucosa, leading to gastrointestinal disorders.
